SMVRHM Work Day at the BCWRR

Karl and Stephanie of the Bitter Creek Western Railroad kept a small crew from the Santa Maria Valley Railway Historical Museum (SMVRHM) busy painting the picnic tables and other chores in the BBQ area. Above, William sweeps the picnic area. All this is in preparation for next week's Choo Chew Saturday. "Railroad Gothic" (Stephanie and Dr. Marcus). Don mastered the push broom, too. While Dan prepped the tables for paint. Karl got the crew going on the sander. Dropcloth placements. Phil takes up sanding. And Dr. Marcus paints.

Part of Dennnis' (right) new train was unloaded. Don does metal detail, too. And some restroom cleaning. Dr. Marcus starts the painting of the restroom building.
