Cement plant east of Tehachapi.

Just out of the loop headed uphill.

The monument reads: "The Cross at the Loop. In memory of Conductor Everett S. Crown, Brakeman Allen R. Reiss, who lost their lives in a tragic train wreck in San Bernardino Calif. May 12, 1989. Erected by employees and S.P.T.C.O." The white cross is barely visible in this picture at the top of the hill (not the tallest, farther peak) that is in the middle of the Tehachapi Loop.
