Grab Irons, Roof Repair, and Maintenance Placard

Ed (forground) and Phil work on the roof repair while Kevin (by the caboose steps) preps for spray lettering. Phil fits the replacement lumber for this small segment of the roof. These grab irons were afixed earlier. Phil and Kevin work their respective assignments. At right, the placard is done! You can see the journals haven't been repacked since 1979. That's OK, it hasn't put on many miles since then either. Now for the other side...
