HO Model, Yard Area and Rolling Stock Develops, February, 2002

The first three pictures are of the enginehouse (larger, whiter building with lots of windows), the blacksmith shop, and the water tower.

  

At right below is the ice house. Ice was loaded from the second level into the tops of the reefers.

  

Below are two longer shots of the enginehouse and ice house areas. Note the team of SMVRR GE 70-tonners (yellow) pulling the Pacific Fruit Express reefers (orangey colored box cars), and the lone sugar beet gondola (dark brown).

  

Below left is a picture of the developing foundation for the depot building which is located just west of the enginehouse. At right is a longer shot with a section of the depot loading dock still in the lower left behind the dark green box car (marked Santa Fe).

  

And lastly, here's a shot looking back the other way (looking a bit north of west, basically).
